Methadone in Indiana

Methadone is classified as a synthetic opioid drug. It is prescribed for the management of moderate to severe pain. However, the drug can also be used in the context of addiction treatment to help you overcome your opioid use disorder - particularly if you are addicted to heroin. Today, it is one of the most common opioid drugs in Indiana.

• Reduced attention span
• Reduced blood pressure
• Sedation
